You’re stuck in a rut, and all you want to do is sit on the couch or take a nap.
We’ve all been there, and we’ve all had those days when you’re just not in the mood to do anything.
Not wanting to check off the items on your to-do list can seriously affect your productivity, though.
Whenever I feel like I can’t bring myself to do anything, I use these three strategies:
- Put your smartphone in another room to stop distractions from texts, calls, and social media.
- Start with the easiest task on your to-go list.
- Plan an incentive for when you finish your work (i.e. once I finish this task, I’ll watch one hour of TV).
