Procrastination is a super common issue that can hold you back from feeling productive (trust me, I’ve been there before).
To procrastinate means to push off the important tasks that you need to complete, leaving them for a later time or date. Procrastination may make you feel better for a little while, but it can snowball, leading to missed deadlines and growing anxieties.
Procrastination is a tough issue to mend. But, I’ve found that the following three strategies can help you stop procrastinating:
- Identify the things that waste your time, such as social media, going into the kitchen for snacks, shopping online, etc.
- Block out periods of time every day when you just focus on your tasks and ignore those time thieves.
- Make your to-do list for the day the night before so that, right when you wake up in the morning, you know exactly what you have to do.

Clearly, procrastination causes more stress than it’s worth. But, once you start procrastinating, it’s very hard to stop.
That’s why I’ve gathered up the following quotes – to help you say goodbye to procrastination for good.
